Q.  What are Limelight's credentials for writing a press release?

Q.  What kind of feedback has Limelight gotten from clients about its press releases?

Q.  How long will my press release be?
A.  The optimum length for a press release is 500-750 words or approximately 1-1½ pages.  I will generally remain within these parameters unless the situation dictates otherwise.  I use standard one-inch margins and will deliver the press release as an MS Word document.

Q.  What are Limelight's rates?
A.  My fee for a standard press release is $100.  This is extremely reasonable for a professional press release, which often costs $200-300 or more on the internet.  The fee includes an initial email or phone consultation, follow-up emails as needed during the writing process, and one free revision of the finished press release.  You will also receive FREE press release distribution via theClickPress Global News Distribution service, FREE mention of your business and/or press release on our Twitter page, and a FREE listing on our Clients page with a link back to your business. 

Q.  Do you offer any discounts?
A.  Yes!  I offer a 50% discount for IRS-certified non-profit organizations, providing a professional press release for just $50.  You must be able to provide an IRS document on organization letterhead to receive the non-profit discount.  I will also be offering discounts and spcials on Twitter, so be sure to follow me! 

Q.  How is payment handled?
A.  Payment is required when your order is placed and will be collected via a secure SSL server.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Paypal payments.  Orders are non-refundable and all orders are final.  If you have a current discount code, you will be asked to enter it in the shopping cart at checkout. 

Q.  Will you distribute my press release for me?

•  Limelight will distribute your press release for FREE on the ClickPress Global News Distribution service.  ClickPress content is distributed by news services, including Google News, Topix and Ask Jeeves, and includes XML/RSS distribution newsfeeds such as MyYahoo! and Newsgator.  ClickPress content is also indexed by influential search engines like Google, MSN and Yahoo!, and includes popular email news alert services including Google, Yahoo!, Feedster and Inbox Robot crawl.  Complete details can be found at ClickPress Global News Distribution.

•  It is in your best interest to distribute your press release to as many targeted recipients as possible - to your friends, business acquaintances, local media (newpapers, radio and TV stations, etc.), bloggers, current customers, prospects, and so on.  The easiest and least expensive way to distribute your press release is by email.  Start building your own email distribution list now and at to it as often as possible.  Many small businesses utilize a service like Constant Contact to manage their email distribution lists.

•  If you have a website, you are welcome to post your press release on it and link to it in emails, on social media sites, etc.  If you send us the link to your press release when posted, we will help promote it on Limelight's Twitter account.  Be creative with you press release distribution!  The more eyes that see it, the better. 

Q.  What else do I need to know?
A.  You must be an authorized representative of your company to request a press release on its behalf and must abide by your company's copyright rules.  Limelight Writing reserves the right to refuse a press release request if the content is deemed unsuitable.
